Hi, I’m Hollie.
As a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) and experienced doula, I have completed the leading national breastfeeding certification in the United States. In addition, I am a Registered Nurse (RN) with 9 years of experience.
I am married with five beautiful children. I enjoy volunteering my time as a La Leche League Leader in West Tennessee, bringing the group back from it's hiatus at the beginning of 2020. Through my nonprofit, Hub City Doula, I have worked to promote community education on such important topics as: babywearing, attachment parenting, and breastfeeding for the working mother.
I successfully breastfed for over 30 months with my subsequent children, 4 out of 5 were born safely at home. During my combined 60+plus months of breastfeeding my children, I have personal and professional experience with mastitis, clogged milk-ducts, thrush (yeast infections in mother and baby), and nursing with tongue ties.
Because of these experiences, I can offer you breastfeeding and birth advice that is both clinical and practical, realistic and accessible. My goal is to support and sustain mothers so they can meet their birth and breastfeeding goals.
